Joseph Wrobel, Ltd.

The law firm of Joseph Wrobel, Ltd., was formed in 1980 and has been a continuous and ongoing, viable law firm through the present day.

With offices located in Chicago, Chicago-Rosemont, Burr Ridge, Deerfield, Gurnee, Naperville-Lisle, Orland Park, Schaumburg, Skokie, St. Charles and Westchester,  Joseph Wrobel, Ltd proudly serves the counties of Cook, Lake, Will, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, LaSalle, Grundy and McHenry. Prior to forming Joseph Wrobel, Ltd, Joseph Wrobel was employed by the general practice firm of Robert Morton and Associates. He later was a lawyer and partner in the Legal Clinic of Wrobel and Roseman.

In 1977, Mr. Wrobel opened the 71st Street Law Office. The 71st Street Law Office, along with the Legal Clinic of Wrobel and Roseman, both store-front offices, was a pioneer in bringing quality legal services at reasonable fees into Chicago’s neighborhoods. The 71st Street Law Office operated at 1927 E. 71st Street, Chicago, Illinois for 10 years, and served the South Shore and neighboring communities. Today, a very large number of the clients of the 71st Street Law Office, along with the family and friends of those clients, are still clients of the present law firm of Joseph Wrobel, Ltd. Through the years, the law firm of Joseph Wrobel, Ltd. has interviewed and served more than 20,000 clients.

Joseph Wrobel - Chicago Bankruptcy

Joseph Wrobel has been a practicing attorney since 1973 and has experience in a wide variety of law relating to legal matters for individuals and families. He is married and has one son who, with his wife and school-age daughter, reside in California. Mr. Wrobel’s wife was the long-time program director for a North Suburban Senior Center. She has three married sons and  seven  grandchildren living in a Chicago suburb, Denver and Washington DC.

He is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Bankruptcy Committee of the Chicago Bar Association. He is a long-time active participant in the Bankruptcy Panel of Pro Bono Program of the Chicago Volunteer Legal Services (CVLS), which provides legal assistance to persons unable to afford a lawyer. Mr. Wrobel is the recipient of two distinguished awards for service to CVLS.

Recently, Joseph Wrobel was honored to receive this Certificate of Appreciation from the Jewish United Fund, for pro bono legal representation for the JUF Evelyn R. Greene Legal Services program.

When not practicing law, Mr. Wrobel is also an avid bicyclist, riding 8 to 10 hours weekly and is a licensed cycling coach, training and coaching more than one dozen cyclists.
